Easter

Springtime Wreath

Easter time is fast approaching. A time for celebrating the arrival of Spring and new life…… and also CHOCOLATE.

With that in mind here is a project to keep you all busy. The link to the free PDF on Ravelry will be included below.

These little egg covers are designed to fit Cadbury eggs. I bought the Oreo and Dairy Milk 4 pack with the spoons and included the little purple egg case when I made mine.

I really hope you enjoy making these little covers. Share them on Facebook or Instagram using the #floscraftycrochet #eggcovers or tag me so I can see your lovely creations.

Here is the link to the free PDF 🙂 happy making.

Shamrocks and St Patrick’s Day

St Patrick’s Day is fast approaching and with that is the need for shamrocks to be work to show the world that you’re Irish. Usually it’s a mad dash for a couple of sprigs wrapped up in aluminium foil which by the end of the day end up a sorry, sad, droopy mess. So I decided to create some from yarn that would hopefully last the course.

I have included the written instructions and a link for the YouTube video.

The shamrock has become synonymous with Ireland and St Patrick. He used the simple shamrock to explain the Christian faith to the Irish natives, the 3 leaves representing the Holy Trinity. It is a type of clover and can be found growing all over.

To create my shamrocks, I selected some green yarn from my stash and my trusty Clover Amour 4mm hook and set to work.
